The Atlanta Havoc's robust offense and stingy defense continued to trend positively in a win over the South Carolina Cowboys on Saturday night.
Atlanta took a 43-7 lead in the first half. Quarterback Lee Chapple connected with Ryan McDaniel on the first offensive play of the game for a touchdown. The Havoc followed with a pitch to Zach Brown on the ensuing drive for another touchdown.
The Cowboys answered, but it was a mere whimper as Georgia preceded to rattle off 64 unanswered points. The Havoc's run lasted until there were just more than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Atlanta (6-0, 5-0) is one of two undefeated teams left in the American Arena League. The Havoc go back on the road Saturday to face High Country.
